Hello! I'm Erica, AKA "E", (my husband, Chuck, came up with that one). I would like to start by telling you a little bit about my family and myself. I was born and raised here in Dallas. I lived in the same house my entire life and can you believe that my parents still reside there? It is unheard of these days. I have an awesome relationship with my wonderful parents and all three of my brothers, (Yea, I guess you could say I'm a tough cookie). Just like anyone else, my parents taught me to discover what my dreams were and to keep on keepin' on!

Well, my first dream was always to find that special someone. You know, to be your best friend. Cry together, laugh together, have children together. All the good stuff.

Chuck is all of that and much more. We have been married since 1997. God has blessed us with two beautiful daughters, Haidyn and Savannah. I thought Chuck was going to croak when he found out that we were having girls and no boy, -at least not yet anyway. He doesn't let that stop him, though.

Those girls have their OU SOONERS uniforms and some people think he has brain washed them because they think it's "really bad" if they don't like OU. He just tells them that some people make good choices and some do not, (like UT fans). Ha! And believe me, they know the hand sign too. Life has definitely sped up since kids but we wouldn't have it any other way.

We also have an addition to our "Girls Club". Her name is "Sugar". Santa got her in 2006 for the girls. They are all three inseparable.

My second dream was to work somewhere that didn't feel like work. It happened in 1994. Dr. Avant and Sally hired me as an assistant. I knew immediately after my interview that God had a really good plan for me. I have never in my life met such wonderful people. And my friends, (not co-workers), are indescribable! They will help you in need of anything, work or non-work related. This is my second family!

I started a new position in administration in 2005. It is very different than assisting but there are definitely perks. I guess what I loved so much about assisting was the one on one with the patients but now I have that and so much more. Some of you reading this know me and know how much I love my job but those of you that don't, just come on in. I'd love to share my experience with you as well
