Meet Our Team

Our team at Smile ‘n Share It is dedicated to provide you with the best in patient care and deliver outstanding results. Many of our staff members have worked here for years. We have a wonderful camaraderie with each other and our patients.

Mari, Dental Hygienist/Office Manager
Garland Dental Associate Mari has 30 years of experience in dentistry and has been working with her husband, Dr. Ragnell, for over 20 years. She has an Associate’s of Applied Science degree and belongs to the American Dental Hygienist Association. Mari loves the flexibility afforded by her vast experience and enjoys helping out around the office wherever she is needed. Being part of a supportive team that strives to maintain a positive work environment makes coming to the office a pleasure for Mari.

Married for over 20 years, Mari and Dr. Ragnell have two boys, Jordan 20, and Ryan 14. Jordan attends SMU and has a passion for cars, and Ryan attends Parish Episcopal School. He still plays football and baseball. In her spare time, Mari volunteers her time with the Women’s Auxiliary and Genesis Women’s Shelter. She also likes reading, spending time with good friends, and traveling as often as time allows.

Amy, Registered Dental Assistant

Fort Worth Dental Associate With 15 years of experience in the dental field, Amy brings a wealth of knowledge to Dr. Ragnell’s practice. She has been a member of our team for two years and enjoys providing high-quality care to every patient that walks through our doors. Amy has found her second family here, and she believes that our sincere concern for one another benefits coworkers and patients alike.

Born and raised in Dallas, Amy and her husband have a boy and a girl who are just 12 months apart. When she’s not with her “extended family,” Amy cherishes time spent with her immediate family and also likes spending time outdoors.

Erica, New Patient/Treatment Coordinator
Dallas Dental Administrator After 17 years of experience as a dental assistant, Erica is an expert at explaining treatments and answering questions for our patients. She shifted gears four years ago, and patients love her enthusiastic and obliging approach. Over the past 15 years, Erica has developed close relationships with her patients and colleagues, and she proudly works for an office that is, “Not your average dental practice!”

Erica is a native to Dallas, and she and her husband, Chuck, have two daughters. When she has time to herself, Erica enjoys exercising, dancing, hiking, and cooking.

Sara, Dental Hygienist
Addison Dental Associate Sara has been in the dental field since 1998 and earned her dental hygiene degree while working as a dental assistant. She has a passion for dentistry and for people and enjoys the lasting relationships she develops with our patients. Dr. Ragnell has introduced Sara to cutting-edge technology, and she appreciates the opportunity to discover something new every day.

Sara grew up in Rockwall and is the youngest of six with many nieces and nephews. Away from the office, she enjoys training for marathons, reading, and outdoor activities.

Deborah, Dental Hygienist
Deborah has worked as a dental hygienist since 1998, after earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Womens University. A friendly member of our staff, she considers Dr. Ragnell and our team her extended family. Our patients value the professional skill and personal warmth Deborah possesses, which make dental visits informative and enjoyable.

Deborah is grateful for a collection of wonderful friends who inspire her daily. She met her husband through one of our patients in 2003, and the two welcomed their first child, a boy, in 2005. Deborah loves the energy and laughter Hunter brings to her life, and enjoys being a mom and wife. Her hobbies these days are outdoor activities, crafts, and learning about the fishing world.

Adelaida, Appointment Coordinator/Office Administration
Adelaida has been part of our team since 2006, and she loves working for a doctor who is so eager and excited about teaching others the intricacies and terminology of dentistry. Coming to work is always a fun and educational experience, and Adelaida takes pride in knowing that she has a role in helping people better their smiles.

Adelaida and her husband, Joe, have a daughter, Gabriella, and a dog, Tiger. When she’s not in helping our patients, Adelaida reads inspirational books, spends time with her family, and enjoys soccer.

Charity, Certified Dental Assistant
Ft. Worth Dental Associate Charity has been dental assisting for nine years and loves the variety that dentistry has to offer. She finds working with Dr. Ragnell challenging and rewarding on many levels. Learning new aspects of the dental field keeps Charity on her toes, and she appreciates working with such a supportive and interesting team. Developing relationships with patients, contributing to their overall health, and boosting their self-confidence give Charity a great sense of job satisfaction.

Charity is currently enrolled at Collin County Community College. From 2001 to 2008, she received the “Award of Awesomeness,” and she is also a member of the “Cool Cats Club.” She and her husband, Matt, enjoy spending time with their two cats, exercising, and reading.

Le Duck, Greeter
Plano Cosmetic Dentistry Mascot Originally from Canada, LeDuck flew to Dallas with his friends and family as a duckling to be closer to his favorite restaurant, El Chico. He has three years of experience chasing children and preening himself. An integral member of our team, LeDuck will answer any questions you may have about your procedure with a resounding “Quack.”

LeDuck is currently single and looking for an available hen that enjoys long walks in the park. In his spare time, he volunteers for the DADS (Ducks Against Down Stuffing) organization and listens to his favorite Belgian electro-rock band, Goose.
